Study Colossians with us!

The Edmonton Men's BSF pilot class will begin our study of Colossians on Thursday, April 24th. This 5-week study will wrap up our pilot class before we take a break for the summer and begin the regular Men's BSF class in September.

If you have not checked out Men's BSF yet, this is great opportunity to join our class! For those of you that have already attended our studies in Philippians and Ruth, please invite your friends and children to attend Colossians. Our hope and prayer for Men's BSF is that lives will be changed, souls will be saved, and family trees will bear fruit because of the power of the Word of God.

Men's BSF class is held every Thursday from 6:45-8:30 p.m at Edmonton Chinese Alliance Church. We have English and Mandarin discussion groups available. If you have any questions, please contact Dan Dromarsky.

Join us to study the Book of Ruth

We thank and praise God that the Men's BSF pilot class in Edmonton is off to a great start! We will be wrapping up our study of Philippians this week, and will begin a 5-week study of the Book of Ruth starting March 20th. For those of you who have not yet attended, or if you have a friend that is interested in BSF, this study of the Book of Ruth would be a great starting point to join our class!

Men's BSF Children's Program

With the beginning of the Men's BSF Pilot Class this Thursday, it will also mark the start of the Children's Program as well. The Men's BSF evening class has a school-age program for those who are currently enrolled in Grades 1 through 12.

We encourage the men who are enrolled in the class to bring their children to the program. The school-age program studies the same scripture as the men. We pray it will be one of the best times of your child's week!

The BSF Children's Program aims are:

• Instill a love for God and His Word in the minds and hearts of the next generation
• Support parents and other adults in the spiritual training of children
• Train leaders to be effective teachers of God’s Word to children

Please bring your children and have them invite a friend, family member, or even neighbor to this exciting Bible study! Come early to register!!!

Start date for Men's BSF Pilot Class

It is with much joy that I am letting you know that we have an official start date and time for the Bible Study Fellowship Men's Pilot Class! I would personally like to invite you (or the man in your life) to come and join us as we study the Word of God together.

Our first class will be on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Edmonton Chinese Alliance Church at 6:45 p.m. sharp. Come early to register!

Children's program available
We are also glad to announce that the Edmonton Evening Men's BSF Class will have a school-aged children’s program. When the pilot class starts, please bring your boys and girls to register for the children's program! They are also welcome to bring a friend, cousin, or neighbor as long as they are currently in Grades 1 through 12. BSF has an amazing children's program that goes through the same scripture as the adults and teaches them to read and apply scripture in a personal way.

1 Corinthians 9:23-27: "Now this I do for the gospel's sake, that I may be partaker of it with you. Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified."
