When is a good time to join Bible Study Fellowship?

It is always a good time to join BSF! You may register for a class anytime during the year if space is available. Join us at Edmonton Chinese Alliance Church 9120 146 St at 6:45 p.m.

BSF is an in-depth, interdenominational Bible study that helps people know God and equips them to effectively serve the Church throughout the world.

In more than 1000 classes in 39 countries, people of all ages, races and cultures participate in BSF, whether they are discovering God's Word for the first time or have studied the Bible over a lifetime.

Bible study draws us closer to God and helps us better understand Him, His Word and His love. Through a stronger relationship with God, members have discovered how to build better and stronger relationships with others — at home, work, school and in our communities.

In the more than 50 years since our founding, hundreds of thousands of men, women and children have participated in BSF. Many have gone on to assume leadership positions in their churches and to serve God in other ministries.

There is no cost to join a BSF class — either for the class or materials. Even if you have never studied the Bible, still come! We are going through the book of Revelation and we currently have space for you at BSF!

Revelation study begins September 17

Mark your calendars! The BSF Revelation study will begin next month on Thursday, September 17th at Edmonton Chinese Alliance Church from 6:45 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.! This is the first time BSF has ever done a study on the Book of Revelation, so we are expecting strong interest and a big turn out. Make sure you invite a friend!

Our Men’s BSF Evening class has a school-age Children’s program for those going into Grade 1 this fall up to Grade 12. Make sure you bring your kids and invite their friends as well!

Pre-register for the Book of Revelation study

BSF will be offering its newest study this fall which explores the Book of Revelation. We are now asking current BSF attendees to pre-register at class for this study.

If you haven't yet attended Men's BSF, please join us any Thursday by the end of April for a Welcome Class. You can get registered into BSF and jump right into the Revelation study this September!

The Homestretch

We hope everyone had a blessed Easter holiday and the kids enjoyed their spring break from school. For this April, we are on our final four lessons in the Life of Moses study as we focus on the Book of Deuteronomy. It still not too late to introduce friends to BSF so keep inviting them!

We will also be offering another seminar after class on Thursday, April 9th. The topic is Personal Quiet Time.

Homiletics seminar

BSF Seminars introduce skills to help in your spiritual growth as well as help train you to serve in your local church. We will be offering a seminar about homiletics on Thursday, February 12th at 8:30 p.m. (right after the Men's Evening class).

Homiletics is about how to more deeply analyze a Scripture passage. The goal of homiletics is to help you understand and apply the content of a Bible passage to your own life and to others you want to teach.

Christmas break

It has been such a blessing to do the Life of Moses study this fall with men from all across Edmonton. This post is to inform everyone that the last evening men's BSF class before Christmas will be on Thursday, December 11, 2014. We will resume our class on Thursday, January 8, 2015.

Please remember that newcomers are always welcome! We also still have room for new children to join our school-age program. Continue to invite your family and friends to join us!

Our Men’s BSF Evening class has a School age Children’s program open to those going into Grade 1 this fall up to Grade 12. The school-age program studies the same scripture as the men. We pray it will be one of the best times of your child's week!
